Heidi Montag Pratt playboy dietHeidi Montag Pratt, the 22-year-old blonde on the reality series The Hills is getting some new ‘exposure’ in the literal sense as she’s appearing on the cover of the September issue of Playboy.

After the photo shoot, she hooked up with Life & Style Magazine and gave them the inside scoop on how she got ready to bare all for Playboy. When asked how her workout changed in comparison to before the shoot Heidi explained that she used to casually get on the treadmill to exercise but once she was preparing for Playboy she was doing ‘athletic training’ five days a week and for an hour each day.

The newlywed who wants to feel sexy for her husband and co-star Spencer Pratt, said that she likes to do the dead lift weight during her workout routine. She explained,

“The dead lift. I lift 100 pounds, and that’s pretty much my weight. It’s very empowering. I feel more comfortable and confident alone. I don’t need my husband to carry my luggage downstairs — I can do it. I feel pretty buff.”

Lastly, Heidi was asked if she lost weight for the shoot besides adding on some extra curves. She replied that she probably gained five extra pounds because she firmed up and gained muscle at the same time. All in all, Heidi is happy with her body for the magazine shoot and her husband is happy too:

“He loves my new additions. I just want to be the foxiest wife.”
